THIS brightly coloured three-bedroom California bungalow on large land in Highett's main thoroughfare, fell far short of the owner's hopes yesterday. Buxton agent Adam Gillon said two bidders took the price to $690,000 but the vendor was looking for "around $720,000 to $730,000".
